Burn Up! 3/5
Saw this appear as a random review on AP. Since it was only a single 45 minute episode I thought Id take a look.

Plot
Girls have been kidnapped and brainwashed to be turned into sex slaves. It’s up to some crime fighting police girls to put a stop to this. It all starts out interesting ennough with a car chase shoot out thing and then ends up being a load of uninteresting chatter in a police station. Then towards the end theres more shooting. That is essentially the whole thing. Though theres a few amusing bits every now and then.

Characters
The main characters didnt leave much of an impression, the pink haired one had an annoying voice with the personality you would expect from a child and seemed to be either in the wrong job or just too young to be in the police force. She seemed like a right airhead. Old villain guy …looks and sounds like an old villain guy.

Animation
This wasnt too bad for an older series. The city looked quite nice as did the backgrounds and the vehicles and such things. The male character designs fit in. The female ones however did not. They just stuck right out and seemed to be in the wrong kind of anime. Gigantic eyes that took up half their heads and bright hair. They looked quite young but not to the same extent as the pink haired girl. The bit in the nightclub had just a bit too much flashy strobe lights. Action scenes wernt too bad, people get shot and blood flies.

Sound
Annoying voices aside the others seemed ok enough. The music where there was any wasnt too bad, kind of what you’d expect from something from this time period. Bit weird sounding in places.

Conclusion
So theres not really much here to watch but its only one episode that was vaguely entertaining. Not alot to it but nothing terribly awful here. Didnt really make me want to watch any of the others. And being so short there wasnt that much to write about.
